We can't thank Dr. Jake enough. Our dog Hazen developed scary symptoms (couldn't stand steadily, dilated eyes, confused and obviously in pain) at dinnertime on a Sunday night while at a campground not far from his clinic. He promptly returned our call to his emergency number and agreed to meet at his clinic as soon as we could get there which was after 8 PM that night.nnI won't detail all he did but suffice it to say he was professional, thorough, excellent to deal with and Hazen responded well to his treatment. I highly recommend his services whether for normal veterinarian care or in an emergency such as ours.

If it wasn’t for Dr. Van Dyke and his amazing team at Fremont River Vet- our little dog Reuben wouldn’t be here today. Dr. V saved his life, and we are forever grateful.nnWe had been traveling from Boston to visit some national parks in Colorado and Utah, and Reuben started to develop some intense GI issues. When I called the clinic, the receptionist was so kind and understanding and was able to get us a same day appointment. Reuben ended up having symptoms of HGE, which can be fatal if not treated immediately. It was really scary for us as he was not responding and bleeding a lot.nnDr. Van Dyke was calm, reassuring, knowledgeable, and incredibly kind and flexible. He went above and beyond after normal business hours to keep our little pup over night twice to help him stabilize with intensive care. He communicated well with us, and his rates for this intensive treatment was affordable.nnThe whole ordeal was a crisis for us, and Dr. Van Dyke was so compassionate and understanding. We are so fortunate that Reuben had him as a physician, and we highly recommend Fremont River to anyone in need of veterinary medicine.

Dave and the staff are always courteous, knowledgeable, and very helpful. Always willing to help even after hours for emergencies.

Jake is an amazing vet. Both of my dogs love him. I drive 240 miles!!! He is worth the trip, I promise.

Dr. Jake is awesome! Everyone there is so friendly and compassionate! We are so lucky to have them here in Wayne County! Even my cats like Dr. Jake! Well, kind of. A little. Maybe.
