The restaurant is definitely tucked out of the way, which adds to the character and charm of this German restaurant.nnThe food was delicious and very BIG portions. I had the sausage platter, which comes with 4 different sausages, grilled to a nice crisp.nnThe staff friendly and attentive, regardless of how late it is.nnDefinitely recommend if you're in the Tahoe area and would like to experience German cuisine or if you're already a fan.

Excellent food, service and warm inviting atmosphere! I'll make a point to come eat here as often as possible! Our servers were excellent, Willen was very attentive and answered all our questions. Our other server(forgot his name) with the heart tattoo, is super friendly and helpful as well. Cant say enough good things about this establishment!

This restaurant is a MUST! Service was great! Food was AMAZING! Beer is top notch. Nothing but great things to say about this place. Already thinking about the next time we get to go back. Perfect location. Go give it a try!

For a better experience, just order carry out. The food is legit great but the service is questionable. From the authentically German rude hostess to the waitress that doesn’t know how to manage tables it’s like the service just doesn’t know how to do a good job. The guy servers did seem passionate about the place, unfortunately they weren’t our main servers.

Felix is awesome! Everyone is genuinely nice! The food is amazing, and the beers are great. I come here at least once a year and I'm never disappointed in the slightest. Their brussel sprouts are unbelievable, as well as their curry roasted cauliflower. Perfect cozy spot to chill and have a hearty meal. I also love the fact it's not in the main strip with tourists.
