I Loved this place, felt like I stepped into a Time worpe. Food was good, friendly atmosphere.
Atmosphere right out of the old west, we had burgers for lunch that were quite good. Check out the bar across the street for a good collection of the old west.
The ambiance was worth it alone, but the patrons and barkeep are the icing on the cake.
I prefer this place very much. there is a unique air. The meals are great. the service is powerful and the team is friendly. The cost is satisfactory. I warmly recommend.
Really cool atmosphere, takes you back almost 100 years. The bar has beer and wine, no hard stuff. And the restaurant always has top choice beef. My wife and I had their prim rib the other night, thick cuts and cooked to perfection. If your up at Whiskeytown Lake, take just a few more minutes of a drive west to the French Gulch turn off, and it's just 3-4 miles up the road, you won't regret it.
