Normally we love the campground, loved camping there again this year. Normally the kids love going to the little store and buying ice cream, candy and snacks. The service in the store wasn’t good acted like it was a chore to run a debit card.... even when I apologized for not having cash. She just commanded me to put the counter down 3 times until I realized what she wanted me to do. Needless to say we didn’t go back to purchase these little things had to drive to other places to get things.
I've been taking the kids here the last 5 years. We love it. It's our go to happy spot in the summertime. Patrick and his family are great hosts.
Just spend the weekend there, it was amazing spot very beautiful place. Relaxing gateway for people. The family seems to handle the place themselves, facilities are a bit dated but truly for campers it doesn’t matter the river beach is very comfortable entrance.
Stayed here with friends while we went floating down the trinity river. Great location, friendly staff and clean cabins. Definitely going to stay here again
Wifi, pool, nature, and laser tag? What's not to love!!!nnThe residents who run this establishment are friendly and more than welcome to help if needed. They sell food and necessities if you forgot something, have various fun activities, and more! The scenery is great with chances of seeing wildlife. Access to the river if you prefer that over the pool, and there is a lovely gazebo that makes the perfect little spot to read at!
