Delicious food, low salt flavor but still tasty. Everything we ordered looked fantastic and tasted great! Miguel was a kind and efficient server. Appreciated all the dogs being allowed in and the safety precautions the staff have taken.
I’m so excited to have this restaurant in Del Mar. The margaritas are delicious and perfectly strong. I’m not a mole person but their mole with chicken is amazing. It’s not greasy at all. You could tell there’s quality ingredients. We can’t wait to go back
VERY EXCITING ! My wife and I checked out this new Mexican restaurant opening today. We've been watching the progress of construction for some time so it was a bit of a surprise to see the OPEN sign today. Tamarindo will definitely bring some classy charm to the restaurant strip on Camino del Mar. Plenty of parking in the undercover lot behind the restaurant too. I had a lovely chat with friendly server Tyler and said we will be back soon !
So excited this place is open in my neighborhood... great food and drinks, open atmosphere with fire tables, attentive and authentic staff. Will bring so much more fun back to the Plaza. Welcome Tamarindo!
I just called Tamarindo and requested to place an order to pickup. I was told NO; I was told that if I wanted to experience their cuisine I would need to come sit in their restaurant— IN THE MIDDLE OF THE COVID -19 PANDEMIC. Granted they do have some outdoor seating but pickup orders should be a given at this time. I was told that they were “too busy” to do a takeout order. SHAME ON YOU!
