The most recent event we had a fantastic server, Sebella. She kept our sodas topped off, was alwys checking on us, and had a constant smile on her face. Our each visit was phenomenal.
The sound here makes every musician shine. Never too loud, always balanced and clear. Saw the California Honey Drops - strings, brass, wind, percussion and vocals - and every spot in the house was movin' and swaying to the funky soulful grooves. Awesome venue with top quality sound, genuine artists, and a community that knows how to have fun.
We live around the corner from the Belly Up and it is so fun to have such a great local venue. The atmosphere is intimate and there is always at least a little bit of space to dance, we really enjoy every concert and event we have attended here. We will be back often!
Great venue, easy parking, good neighborhood. As I understand it, most tickets are first come first serve, so get in line early to get in IF you want to sit and watch. If you plan on dancing the night away then take your time. The food and drinks were okay, but service staff was very friendly. Definitely recommend.
