Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens - Escondido

This brewery/restaurant is wonderful you can really enjoy yourselves.nThe brew is excellent and the food is uncommonly superb. The ambience is a garden park setting with an abundance of trees and pathways or restaurant setting styles which ever you enjoy. If you want someplace new and different that you can trust for a good meal or a casual Saturday relaxation this is it. I only wish I lived closer.

Wow, what a terrible all around experience. My husband loves Stone so I figured it was the perfect place to get his family together for his birthday. Because we were a party larger than 5 I had to call to make a reservation. I called, no one picked up, I left a message and no one called me back. 3 days later I called again and someone made me a reservation. When it came to the day of, when I approached the hostess stand no one acknowledged me for over a minute. They completely ignored my presence, not even, “I’ll be right with you.” Then were finally sat and placed on a table with a bench. While this is fine for people in their 20’s, I had my 60 year old in laws with me who do not need to be hopping over a bench and eating in a picnic table. Additionally, our table only had one heater and we were at a large table. I tried to call wave down a waitress because no one ever came to check on us, and one waitress completely made I contact with me while I waived my hand and she ignored me and walked away. Once I flagged down another staff member, I was told each table could only have one heater. This meant my table of 9 had 1 heater while 2 person tables also had 1. More importantly, there were heaters 50 feet away not in use that could have been brought over. To make matters worse, the food was way too salty for almost everyone’s meal. Lastly, the entire time we were there no one came to check on us or ask how we were. The only time we saw someone was when they were bringing our food and drinks. We used to come here regularly and I WILL NEVER GO BACK AGAIN. The worst dining experience and on my husbands birthday. Just pathetic.

Great service and good food. Everything came out fast and fresh. Amazing selection of beers. They have an awesome outdoor area that makes you feel like you are no longer in Escondido. I like to think of it as a mini stay-cation when we each there.

Stone Brewing World Bistro & Garden is very impressive from the time you walk up to the gargoyle on the huge mirror doors until the final swig of beer. Greeted by friendly staff, quick service and delicious food all while sitting in a beautiful park like setting.nWe split the Mac & Cheese, Brussel sprouts and a brisket dip sandwich, everything was delicious.nMaking a reservation is highly recommended.

Great beer menu and amazing atmosphere, the garden itself is very relaxing. They offer tours wish I wish we had time to go on. Food was delicious! This is a fantastic place to bring friends.
