Reopened April 9-2021, Bowlero in Fontana is open and I decided to take my 6 yr old grandson to. bowl for the first time. We were both giggly and excited, like everyone else we haven't been anywhere and over a year. 3 guys in mid twenties bowling next to us are getting louder and more obnoxious by the minute. F bombs every other word, start talking about female lower anatomy parts. I'm a grandma and I asked as nicely as possible if they could quiet the f bombs a little and pointed to my grandson saying he's only six. All three of those guys went off on me threatening me and when I went to get help at the desk one of them followed us up there and wanted to engage everyone with verbal threats. It was a scary horrible and awful experience and because these guys weren't even thrown out I made a comment about how this isn't a very family-friendly place. These guys were allowed to continue to harass us until they finish their game. Threats were made there was no security there they had a visiting district manager who thought he would handle it and did not do a good job at it at all. Offering my grandson a cookie to calm him down didn't help matters either. The big argument was everybody drops f bombs and I have no right to say anything about it to anybody I should take my p____ a__ a grandson and either get the hell out of there or go to the other side of the bowling alley. They were trying to demand that we be thrown out. I don't know about you but I'm confused. Has this world really come to this where you can't even try to talk something out with someone without threats and retaliation? They told me to be afraid when I left and believe me I was I asked someone to escort me out. Not good very shaken up and I'm just in disbelief that this happened. Worst experience ever. I now know that things like this are NORMAL at this bowling alley- with no security. There was a stabbing there a few years ago in a situation that was very similair and the poor guy died. Its not safe.

Our family went bowling yesterday, April 13th 2021 and we had a blast! It kept us entertained for a good hour. That day was also pretty quiet so it was like we had the whole building to ourselves and staff was fast, which you would expect since it was pretty dead in the inside. But I’ll tell you this we were the life of the party lol. Overall we had a good experience besides the game glitching on us. Oh also the pizza sucks but that’s just my opinion :)

It has great deals.. but this is the second time in a row their kitchen completely forgot to make our order. And when we had just settled in to eat and bowl (during out second frame) we were asked if we would be okay with moving so they could clean lanes. They didn't force us to so we were able to stay where we were, but it still felt a little thoughtful given that we just got food and were towards the end of our second round.

Staff is really friendly and fast assist you. Only thing is that it is a little pricy but if you come on certain nights you can get unlimited bowling or like two dollar games, shoe rentals and tacos. Check before you go.
