I was here back in 2017. I am now 20 &I thank the lord every single day I never have to go back. I was on Celso, THE WORST female unit. Fights broke out everyday. I learned in there I had to fight in order not to get beat up. They turn kids who are not aggressive into aggressive juveniles. I witnessed terrible things that I will not go into much detail not to mention I broke my hand &They waited days for medical attention. Most the kids that got out are either missing, dead or hooked on drugs. I am very fortunate I got taken out and did not age out. If you are thinking of a residential for a child I recommend The Buckeye Ranch Residential. It changed my life and helped me with the trauma I had at pomegranate. NEVER let your child be admitted here unless you want them to walk out more F*cked up then when you drove them there.

I was a patient here for a few weeks, and it's absolutely miserable. The staff only care for bare minimal necessities, its comparable to living in a shed. The only forms of entertainment you have are old board games with missing pieces, so leisure is limited to something less than a low security prison. Beyond that the staff make wrong diagnoses, several professional evaluations said everything they did here was wrong.

My stay was pretty good except for the fact the music wasn't my kind of music but Mrs. Nish and Mr. Vic always made sure I had a turn with the music. The beds weren't very comfortable for my back (I have bad back issues) and I even recently found out my meds the doctor put me on are very ify for kids my age. The food is kinda eh but then again I'm a very picky eater.

I went to pomegranate January 1st for a failed suicide attempt I was there for about a week first there were 5 of us and I left with 9 Miss D and Mr Vic were def my favorite staff they were so kind and I felt really comfortable with them plus they are super funny. Pomegranate saved my life and some of the people I met there would agree too I don’t think I would still be here if I didn’t get sent to pomegranate and I thank God every day that I did thank you pomegranate for showing me more love and support in a week then I’ve ever felt in my whole life I wouldn’t change anything about me going there and I hope you can do the same for other kids

Stayed twice here at this facility and I’m glad I’m too old to return back to their week long inpatient stay. I had a worker tell me “They come once, they’ll always come again” referring to patients. All of the patients have to share 1 bathroom and I had a male patient walk in on me using the bathroom since we couldn’t lock the door. The staff was supposed to be watching the door to the bathroom when we had our bathroom breaks. Almost all of the patients including I were forced to be on the same exact medication even if all of us were there for different reasons. I got to go outside for roughly 10 minutes once each stay I had. Being forced to sit in 1 community room for about..6-7 hours is boring and made time go extremely slow. Wasn’t very clean. Felt unsafe. Wasn’t given as much coping skills and helpful information as other facilities I’ve stayed in. Wouldn’t recommend anyone going to this place.
