Lombardo's White Plains

I want to give a big shout out to Lombardo’s and to one of the owners, Mario. We have recently discovered Lombardo’s and love the freshness of the food!nnI was ordering recently for take out and was asking the young woman who answered the phone questions because I do have several food allergies. Mario heard, and got in the phone with me and immediately answered all my questions, offering to make things specifically for me dietary needs!! That does NOT happen often. WOW...He cared sooo much! Thank you for your caring! ud83dude4fud83dudc95ud83dudc4fud83cudf77ud83eudd57ud83cudf55nnWe already loved the food... now we love the whole place!!

Was invited to dinner by a dear friend. We were at the patio ordered and waited. And waited. And waited. By the time the food arrived, we lost our appetite and ate a few bites. We asked to have the food to go. We left without checking our food. When we opened the containers, one only contained the vegetable (just the (3) quartered artichoke with very little sauce (next to none) left over pasta’s not there and chicken was missing (we ate just a few bites) with the Chicken Picatta. I ordered the Shrimp Marsala but was not able to touch it, only the side pasta. But the take out container only contained 3 pieces of shrimp and everything else is missing. I guess someone had a great take out dinner, it wasn’t US. And when we called that night, they told us to come back that night (coming from Connecticut 1.5 hr away) so we declined. We called the next day and they said they wouldn’t do that anymore and wouldn’t replace the food that we paid for not to mention, we have to travel that far to pick it up for an order that they didn’t set right. So much for a customer’s service and money we spent for empty containers.

Really great food and service.. the mushroom truffle risotto and the pesto pasta were a knockout in terms of taste and value. My pizza selection ( white sauce pizza bianca) had a great crust, but the toppings left me wanting better in terms of the quality.

I cannot say enough about the food and staff at Lombardo's. The food is so delicious and the staff are always so friendly and welcoming! I am obsessed with their Fried barretta and Pork Chop Milanese.
