Once you enter the welcoming ambiance of the establishment, you are greeted with love and a smile that can make you reach glee from co-owner Lin. She has over ten years experience as a mixologist and management. She can wip up a classic Long Island Iced Tea or you can ask her to create one of her unique masterpieces. She can do it all! They have a delicious selection of entrees, mastered by the owners Lin & Joe in conjunction with the unique stylings of executive chef Juan Solares. The prices are just right, not too high, not too low. All is made fresh and with passion. Those worthy of being employed by L&J Cafe are friendly and knowledgeable. Drinks are made to your desire. Although still new, opened in October 2017, it only gets better! A loyal clientele supports the restaurant. The bathrooms are the cleanest I have ever seen! You have soap, sanitizer, and lotion all in one place! Joe, a Mt. Vernon native remains behind the scenes ensuring that all runs smoothly. A silent man speaks volumes. Lin commends the room with her wit, open mind, and love of conversation. She respects all her customers and ensures that they are content with the services provided at L&J Cafe. There is never a dull moment! It is only a matter of time before others start discovering this little gem. I will definitely continue to support L&J Cafe because they cater to all folks palette's.
