My wife & I celebrated our anniversary at Hawkeye in the early fall and were amazed by the fall foliage and gorgeous lakeside view. The beer sampler and the white sangria were really tasty and the food we ordered (salad with salmon and fried chicken with dill coleslaw) was as exquisite as the view. Hawkeye also gets a gold star for offering a large number of gluten-free options. We look forward to returning again soon.

Spent pleasant but chilly afternoon there. Our server, Patrick was very helpful and even got us blankets when we decided to eat outside in light of covid. Lunch was excellent and much more reasonable than I would expect at a 5 star resort.

This restaurant never fails to provide top level service and the highest quality food at an incredibly reasonable price

Could have been better. Server was very good. Nice view from window table. Unfortunately, the bartender was loud, and we were distracted by his unnecessary conversations with other staff members. Salmon was dry, overcooked. Manager not involved. For $140, we expected better.
