Forest Hill Restaurant

I NEVER leave reviews about a restaurant because I’ve just never been that type of person but today is different. I am not kidding when I say that it was THE worst experience I ever had. I brought my daughter with me and as soon as we walk in, the owner is staring us down which made me feel so uncomfortable. My sister asked if we could have a high chair because we need it and the first thing that comes out his mouth is that the restaurant isn’t kid friendly. I don’t understand how it is not as I’ve seen pictures from reviews left with kids present. Honestly, I didn’t walk out then because I wanted to give it the benefit of the doubt. I should’ve walked out. The owner continued to stare my daughter and I down the whole time we were there. Literally every time he walked by, he’d stare us down and I felt so singled out. At this point I didn’t lose my cool because I was there for my sister but had I not been, I would’ve walked out and took my service somewhere else. We were the only people of color and they made us feel so uncomfortable and so not welcomed. Food wasn’t great, costumer service sucked. Before I left, the server had the audacity to say “well, she (my daughter) behaved” UM OBVIOUSLY BUT IF SHE DIDN’T???? She’s a 9mo old like what the hell??? The only good thing I have to say is that the hostess who was an older lady went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable because she could see how uncomfortable we felt. Thank you, ma’am! They for sure lost a costumer. I will never spend my money here again.

Always a great spot to eat and have a cocktail. Outstanding surf & turf for New Years huge tails and a great value.

Wanted to jump on here and say thank you! We just returned home from a 'back-to-basics' vaca and the whole family was in need of a good, home-cooked meal, without me having to cook it tonight, still unpacking lol! I had the shrimp gorgonzola, my son had the pasta and meatballs, hubbie had the wing dings and potato skins, daughter had chicken fingers and french onion soup. Absolutely Delicious! Still really hot for a take-out dinner. Everyone Happy! This shrimp gorgonzola is comfort food served right, I lost count of how many large, perfectly cooked shrimp were in this dish! Wow! We go on this trip every year, and as of today, I am starting a new tradition of ordering Forest Hill for dinner when we return! Excellent, Thank You!

North Greece gem! Mike, the owner, runs a great operation. The food, drinks and service is awesome!
