Great outside spot in Hudson, perfect for a sunny day. Small menu, but curated really well. Their cocktails were really good, but they could do with a slightly bigger beer selection. It's possible they would have more in normal times. It was definitely worth the long line we had to wait to order to eat outside, but their process could be more efficient. If there was a separate line for food and drinks that would be a big upgrade.

This place is great. I love the new tent they put up. Will help get more tables in the shade for the toasty summers. The frozen drinks are good and the food menu blows 'bar' menus out of the water. Looking forwards to the summer under the tent.

The cocktails were fantastic. I had the burger which was incredibly juicy and tender - definitely would recommend. Food has an Asian flair to it so if you'd into that, this is the place for you.

Went out to eat at Backbar and got hit with random extra charge for a “living wage fee”. When we asked about this fee the response was “it’s not gratuity it’s an extra charge that’s split amongst the staff so that we can get paid over minimum wage”. First off, we were going to tip EXTREMELY well, second pay your workers better. Third - we will never be back. If I could leave a zero star rating I would. We were never told about this extra fee when being greeted, seated and there was no signage anywhere stating this policy.

Nice outside space to grab a frozen cocktail or wine/beer. Stopped serving food by time we arrived but food we did see others enjoying looked great.nnSocial distancing done right. Stand in line to order your drinks and bring them back to your table. Great people watching and nice place to wrap up the night.
