I've seen a bunch of great local artists here over the years, Callahan's always seems to feature awesome live music. It's also a great after hours spot for food. If you live on the west side you're pretty much guaranteed to run into somebody that you know late at night after everywhere else is closed. Walkable from the many neighborhoods nearby and a great local hangout for those in the music scene.

Callahan’s Stand-Up Open Mic nights every Wednesday at 7pm is the greatest thing to happen to Binghamton since they made drinking a holiday! The talent is incredible and the crowed is incredibly supportive. This place is perfect for if you want to try your hand at comedy or just soak in the laughs!

A friendly local bar. That has a great deal on Wednesday night for burgers. And it is and excellent burger for $2.00 and you can add fries for a dollar. Beats the hell out of any fast food place....
