Kate saw me that day for help with my 11 month old son. She was wonderful, caring and supportive. My situation was very emotional and I couldn’t hold back tears, and Kate was so comforting. I highly recommend Mahala.

These ladies were God sent for me when I had my last one. I over produced and was in constant pain. They quickly made me comfortable and were absolutely caring with me and baby. I needed that. They helped me so much I recommend them to everyone. In my book, you can’t get anyone better than them

Beth and her fellow lactation consultants are guardian angels sent down to help mommies and babies. My child was gaining about an oz and a half per week, feeding almost constantly. I was told by the pediatrician that I needed to supplement because she thought it was a supply issue. Working with Beth, we discovered my child had a posterior tongue-tie. Upon her recommendation, we sought to have a laser procedure done by a pediatric dentist. While there, we discovered a lip tie, in addition to the tongue tie, which also contributed to a limited ability to access milk. Within two weeks of having the procedure done, my child gained almost 12oz and my pain was completely gone. The pediatrician was right about one thing, it was a supply issue, one created by my child's physical inability to properly access milk and send the messages to my body to make more. With Beth's continued support, I learned ways to boost my supply. I ceased formula supplementation right after the procedure. My child and I were able to build a strong breastfeeding relationship. I am convinced that Beth's gentle ways, patience, continued support, and knowledge base saved my baby and our exclusive breastfeeding relationship.nnOnce you are seen by a consultant in this practice, you will always be a part of their family. Their follow ups and promptness in responding to questions is bar none. Do not hesitate to call them, especially if you have Aetna. They are in-network!

This place made me feel horrible. They told me my first son had tongue tie which was why I was in so much pain and that they didn't know how I was still breastfeeding. They also said he had torticollis and that I needed to take him to physical therapy. They said I would lose my supply and breastfeeding would end early. That never happened. I breastfed for 2 years. I also took my son to a chiropractor who said he did NOT have torticollis. My son's tongue is fine at 3 1/2 years old and he never had the procedure done. They were extremely discouraging especially for a first time mom.nnEDITED to say that this review was originally posted on facebook but was deleted. Dana was great, very sweet and kind. The other person was the one who told me all of this negative stuff. I cannot remember her name. Diane maybe? I dont know for sure.
