I love this practice. All the doctors are great. They are very responsive when I need them, even if it is at a late hour.

Literally struggling to even give this practice one star. The RUDEST, most unfriendly, uninviting, foul mannered group of women I have ever come across at any practice. I work in the medical field and am appalled that I brought my daughter somewhere whose medical equipment is from the 1700s not to mention how blatantly judgmental the woman at reception, the manager whom she passed me to, as well as Dr. Berghaus were when expressing my concerns as a new mother. Also, the nasty manager told me that “maybe their practice was not for me” which is the complete opposite of customer service. I am extremely dissatisfied with the tone these so called “receptionists” use there. The ONLY employee that should be recognized for her professionalism and kindness is Jessica at the front desk. To be told “I had a good laugh with my family at dinner regarding your concerns” caught me so off guard during my daughters previous wellness checkup that I actually left infuriated that her Dr. would blatantly mock me and then verbally tell me about it. I DO NOT APPRECIATE THIS. LOL on top of this complete negligence, they then charge me $15 for 3 appointments worth of medical records in order to switch to a new office. Please try and clean up your act as a practice. I am 1 of 100s of patients that have left this practice recently. Working for THE TOP medical office in New Jersey, a lot of info via word off mouth gets around so its very apparent that this kind of rude behavior happens often there. Save yourself the headache, DO NOT GO TO THIS PRACTICE.

I was surprised to read so many negative reviews here because we had a wonderful experience at Monmouth Pediatrics. Our doctor was Michelle Litsky and she has a wonderful demeanor and bedside manner. We had some health issues in the first 2 months of our infant's life and we were always able to get a doctor on the phone on the emergency line on weekends and at nights. This took a lot of stress out of what could have been extremely stressful - it didn't take hours for the doc on call to call us back, we heard back from them very quickly. It was easy to schedule/get appts that fit our schedule. We also had help from a lady named Carol who was very responsive in helping us get formula covered from our health insurance, and another lady at the front desk got us paperwork we needed in an expeditious manner. We didn't have any negative encounters with ANY staff members. Yes some doctors are friendlier than others (we LOVE Litsky!) and yes the staff won't charm you nonstop (this is NJ, let's get real) but they want to be helpful and they are responsive - while we've moved out of state, we'd be glad to be patients there again.

This place needs some management help. It is despicable to put someone into collections without sending a bill. Furthermore, it is even worse to lie that something was sent via certified mail even though it requires a signature. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE! I guess you guys had nothing better to do during the pandemic.
