Hackensack Meridian Health Raritan Bay Medical Center - Old Bridge

Today my daughter had her surgery there and the service and hospitality was amazing. Her doctor was Dr. Berio and he was very helpful and informative. The staff at the hospital was beyond amazing. Her 1st nurse Arlene was so sweet and her aftercare nurse was make his name escapes me right now but he was amazing as well, Nurse Lauren even called to explain the procedure was taking longer than expected. Thanks for taking care of my daughter and providing her with excellent care.

Excellent! Everything is well taken cared of, from the first and second dose of vaccinations. Staffs are accommodating and explain very well all necessary precautionary measure regarding the effects of being vaccinated. Thank you so much to all the staff nurses.

My grandmother is admitted and I was asked to bring her a change of clothes because all the clothes brought the day before were soiled. Her nurse was aware and agreed it was okay. When I got to the front lobby and spoke with the security guard he immediately told me the hospital doesn’t allow patients to have outside items. I knew this was false and told him my mother just brought a change of clothes yesterday and also the nurse said she could have her clothes. The man dismissed what I said & told me my grandmother couldn’t have her clothes. Knowing I wouldn’t get anywhere with him, I went to the ER to speak to another security guard and see what they could do for me. I was rather met with 3 security guards saying I was already denied at the lobby and I needed to leave. One man told me if my mother brought items yesterday that should be enough. To which I explained yet again that the clothes brought yesterday were soiled and my grandmother had nothing to wear. She’s an elderly lady who tends to get cold very easily and I refuse to make her sit in soiled clothes or in just a hospital gown for the duration of her stay. Eventually I saw arguing wasn’t going to do anything so I left to make a call to the unit to speak to the nurse directly. Luckily the nurse ended up coming down to retrieve the items and expressed that he’d been looking for me. Out of 4 security guards nobody bothered to call the unit. Nobody bothered to help me at all. They rather lied about the hospital’s policy, dismissed me, and made a scene.

Our COVID 19 vaccine was as smooth as can be from the appointment to the shot. The staff was pleasant, efficient, informative, and very professional. My husband and I were in and out in 30 minutes. Im amazed when I hear the horror stories from other people.

I went to Hackensack Meridian Health Raritan Bay Medical Center in Old Bridge for my Covid 19 Shots. They were very well organized, the waiting time was minimal, and they answered all my questions. They all did a good job.
