Outstanding service! Fred is amazing and so attentive. It was my first time at Red Lobster and I had mentioned that to him. He went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience. Checked up on us often, brought us extra biscuits and even offered to take a picture to commemorate the occasion. The crab cakes were great. The rest of the food was generally average but five stars for Fred!

The food at this particular location tasted store bought. Did not taste like fresh seafood. I've had Red Lobster at other locations and they've been amazing. But the New Brunswick one definitely needs to step up their game. Soup and crab legs were served room temperature, waitress was annoyed that we asked for it to be heated up. We were the only people in the whole restaurant so it was hard to understand why that would have been a problem. They weren't busy. Kinda sucks because my family and I usually love Red Lobster.

All I have to say is your server, Fred, is seriously awesome!! I think he was the best waiter I’ve ever had. Attentive, great personality and great service. I will be asking for him every time I come back.

Woooooowww if you have ever had a the pleasure of having “Fred” as your server you will know what I mean when I say this is one of the most amazing servers I have ever come across in all my dining experience. Even when dining in high end Michelin star restaurants i have never had the elite service like that which Fred provided!!!nRed Lobster East Brunswick you have a Diamond in that place and his name is “FRED”

Last year my husband took me out for my birthday. We don't get to eat out very often so I was looking forward to it. Right off the bat we waited an hour then were told they forgot about us. After being seated we got appetizers and drinks and another hour went by with no food. Being it had been over 2 hours and we had to get home to our kids i asked for our food to go.you could tell it had been sitting under the heat for a long time and we ended up tossing it all. (Yes a manager took the one meal off the bill) A year goes by and we give it another shot because we had a gift card. Place was empty and over staffed and service was still very slow and we both ordered 40 dollar dishes and the lobster was so over cooked I could barely chew it. Server never came back to refill drinks or even ask how anything was until we had already finished our meals so I never got to ask for condimemts.. Just disappointed and ill be giving the rest of the gift cards away. Being a former server I am the most understanding person and I have never written a bad review but for 100 dollar meal I still left the server 20 dollars and it just was not worth it. Do better Eaat Brunswick. Those were the only 2 times I went out to eat in 2 years and both times made me wish I stayed home and ordered in.
