Reviews
Food was great and inexpensive. I don’t know why some reviews are claiming to have to spent over $100. I barely spent $60 and gratuity was not included in the bill. Service was quick and efficient. My server was so nice and he was really attentive. The only downside was the live music, specifically the band that plays on Sunday from 12 to 3. It was so incredibly loud and annoying because on a date I would like to talk to my partner instead of being drowned out by music. It was heavenly when they finally stopped playing. I got to look out at the NY skyline on a rainy day from the inside.nnMaybe don’t expect immaculate service and quick seating if you go on a sunny Saturday when they’re extremely busy and everything wants to sit outside. Be reasonable.
Unless you’re spending big money it’s probably better that you find somewhere else.nnI had a 3:30 reservation and when I arrived there was no hostess or anyone at the entrance. After a few minutes of looking around for anyone, the bartender noticed us and tracked her down. Our reservations were outside and we were seated in a hidden corner, despite the rooftop being almost empty. Once seated we were ignored for about 20 minutes until I tried to go inside to order drinks at the bar and was stopped by a server who told me that she didn’t even know we were there.nnAfter another 10 minutes our 2 drinks arrived and the server asked if we wanted food. At this point we were so turned off we decided not to order any food. That was the last contact we had with our server. After another 20 minutes we decided to just try and pay at the bar, but were stopped by a different server who led us inside to pay.nnAll in all not a good experience for us, however there were a few people in the premium igloos who seemed to be getting taken care of. I can understand focusing on the people paying for their experience rather than those of us who are sitting at the “free” tables, but not to this point. If you’re not going to spend the hundreds of dollars on one of their igloos or premium tables, I can not in good faith recommend this place.
The food was great and the atmosphere was beautiful! (5 stars) The service was okay, polite but we had to wait a really long time when we needed our server. They also charge a $10 service fee per debit card which we were not informed of until we saw it on the receipt. Bring cash!!
Loved the view. Staff was super accommodating seeing we did not have a reservation. They follow the social distancing and nice chill vibe with everything going on. The wings were good and the fries were tasty. Just wish there were better cocktail selection and the glasses of wine were barely half full that's my only critique.
Absolutely stunning view! My friend and I had reservations for 615pm and were seated as soon as we arrived. We ordered food and drinks, the food was very cold and the drinks were okay, I think a more diverse menu is needed. I’m giving this place 3 stars because our server was entirely engaged on another table (right next to ours) and we would have to repeatedly wait until he finished mingling (maybe they were his friends) to serve us, that was quite annoying and forced us to stay there longer than we wanted to. I really did not like that customers that wanted to take pictures of the scenery, were literally right on top of our table, it happened 2-3 times and then the lovely Mercy (not our server, she’s possibly a manager) came over, apologized and asked customers not to hover over us. Mercy made our experience so much better by just acknowledging us, the server should be more aware of all the tables he’s serving, as his neglect made our experience not that likeable.
