Groomingdale pet shop

I have taken my maltese to probably every pet groomer in my area at least twice to give them a shot, but he absolutely hates all of them and CRIES when we pull up! But when we come here he is fine! We’ve been coming here for the last 4? years! He gets treated so nicely here! He always comes out looking clean and soooo cute. Love their work each time.

this place is amazing. My dog hate bath grooming brushing his teeth, but after experience at here, he really enjoye bath and everything. Nice kind step and really good price.

Great groomers. It only takes around 2.5 hours to get my dog groomed opposed to 4 at my old groomer. They are consistent every time and my dog always is looking his best when he walks out.

Staff is friendly and the store is kept clean. Lots of variety of pet foods and treats

Yesterday I called to make an appointment to have my 2 cocker spaniels washed. When I called they asked me the type of breed. I told them what they are. The lady told me the cost would be $30 each. I brought them in and had them washed. When I picked them up and paid for them I was told the cost was $40 each. I mentioned to her that when I spoke to her on the phone that you quoted me $30 each. She said that because of the breed that the type of hair is hard to wash. I told her that she had asked me the breed when I called and that she quoted me $30 each. She said the price is still $40 each. If she had been honest with me when I called and told me they were $40 each I would have had no problem with the cost. I think changing the price when I picked the dogs up was very unprofessional. They did a nice job washing them. I live within a block of this shop. From now on I will go back to my groomer in Englewood who does just as good a job, and is very honest.
