The Homestead Restaurant & Tavern

This restaurant is obviously one of the coolest place to eat in the neighborhood. Anytime I go there I am absolutely pleased. They hold their very high level service and the topmost level of cooking they provide. You can never go wrong with this restaurant. Very recommended.

First time here tonight with my husband. Our waitress Tammy was absolutely fabulous! She was so so accommodating. The food and drinks were outstanding and the atmosphere was beautiful. We will be back very soon! Just found a new favorite place.

Our dinner was very good. Our drinks were generously poured, our server was knowledgeable and attentive and our courses were well timed. However our dinner was not exceptional.nnHer Steak Oscar was 50/50. The steak was perfectly medium and the lobster was not over cooked. Disappointingly however the steak was not well seasoned and the Bearnaise sauce was also nearly flavourless, lacking vinegar and tarragon.nnMy Chicken cordon bleu, was perfectly seasoned, flawlessly cooked and the puff pastry was done and not at all doughy.

Great place to buy some food when in a rush. Their customer service is rapid, rates are fair, excellent ambience. I highly recommend this place

The staff is marvelous. Everyone from the managers to the bar backs are friendly and accommodating. Great drinks and specials. The food is just kind of blah. It's your typical blue hair New England restaurant. Decent portions, but it's missing the main ingredient. Flavor.
