Heritage Animal Hospital

Great place! I can tell my kitties are very well cared for at Heritage Animal Hospital. They are not scared of going to the vet and always come back in a great mood. Everyone is so nice!

I understand how challenging it can be to explain things to laymen (me). I felt privileged to be able to make an appointment. My family's vet is not taking new patients, and others would only offer no-contact visits. I just moved back home to mn. No hard feelings but no warm and fuzzies either.nnThe paperwork I received offered more information that was verbalized to me. I felt my concerns weren't addressed as well as I would have liked. Seemed very much like a wham bam appointment. The medication offered (Deramaxx and Dasquin), much to my dismay, is exactly half price if ordered on Amazon.nnUpon review of paperwork their are 2 discrepancies. Foremost, for a laymen like me, my dog does not have a cool and wet nose, instead their is a buildup of dry cracked skin. Her paws are also fraying. Google says it may be called hyperkeratosis. She's old so the term quality of life came out a few times. I didnt do a good job expressing concerns after my first barge of questions were heard but only half addressed in the response I was given.nnEveryone in the building radiated love and kindness. I hope this review, if seen, is not shocking for you kind ladies. I don't mean to bash. I know I didnt do all I could to organize my thoughts and my dog (she needs a grooming) before the visit and may have had a more satisfactory appointment if I had.nnEdit- no temps taken, no ear inspection, no paw inspection (after mentioning i think her pads seem sensitive.)nn173$ visit, 65 $ office exam, 102$ deramaxx pills. Im so glad i trusted my gut and the non verbal cues from the ladies indicating that I didnt have to buy the dasquin, at the formentioned price, from them.

So caring and sensitive when I had to put my old cat down. Went there 4 years early and experienced the same thing. When new cats come I will. E going here

I tried this vet a few times...its just not a fit for my family. With a few exceptions the front desk crew seems stressed and hurried. At one time the vet they assigned to me was allergic to my breed of cat and positively rude. Three times was not a charm in this case...I hope they work at improving!

Very friendly and helpful staff. You can tell they love what they do and care about your pet and giving them the best care.
