This is the best restaurant I have been to in a long time. They have a four course meal menu and everything that both of us ordered was tasted fantastic and looked beautiful. The portion sizes of each course are small, but you leave feeling fully satisfied. The next time I am in St. Paul I am definitely going there again! This restaurant is small so get a reservation. The service is excellent.
We recently dined at Joan’s in the Park with friends and found it to be excellent in all aspects. From the minute we stat down the service was excellent and friendly. The entire food experience was outstanding. Each course was delicious with great presentation. To top it off, we thought the atmosphere was inviting and warm.
Outstanding experience! The food is consistently wonderful, and the staff is warm and personable. They really work to ensure your group has a great evening. Easily one of the best restaurants in the Twin Cities.
The beet tortellini had a mixture of golden and red beet swirling throughout! I've never ordered Beef Tartare before because frankly I've been scared to. Raw beef? I don't know. It has a beet chip on top that helps add a crunchy texture to the raw meat. After the second bite, I forgot what I was eating. It was salty and delicious! I'd definitely order again!
Our table was on the patio which is a charming outdoor space even though it is located on busy Snelling Ave. Since it was September, they had heaters spread around the space. And shawls were also available. The menu offered a great selection for the three course meal. The food was served promptly but without being hurried.
