I went there to do a dispute on my card, as I had ordered clothing items online and had contacted the seller multiple times with no response and no items with proof. I believe his name was Ahmed came out to help me, he asked me how they got my card I stated I gave them my card information. He said there’s nothing I can do for you, you gave them your information I won’t even file a dispute you won’t get your money back (isn’t that the point of having a bank). I previously worked at TCF, I literally have a close friend who does bank disputes for another bank. I knew that information was inaccurate and left. I called my friend who does the disputes for another bank and previously worked at TCF she stated to call the 1800 line. I did and they helped me out and apologized. Had I been less informed I wouldn’t have. To have someone say to your face you gave them your info and you won’t get your money back really is questionable. We use banks as a security for situations as this. I don’t know if he didn’t want to do his job or what. But I have been thinking of banking elsewhere due to multiple problems but I’ve had my account since I worked there in 2015 2016 and I’m too lazy to change over. Now that I’ve heard word from my friend that stated TCF has been out bought Huntington bank I probably will go somewhere else.

I've been a satisfied TCF customer for years. I read that this branch location innocently suffered damage and loss from the violence that persisted May/June 2020.nMy $.02: Just because a bank can afford to repair the damages doesn't make the act of violence any less hateful.nMay TCF continue to provide great customer service and be blessed with great profits.

Went to drive through when they said they were open, but there was a sign that said, Sorry, closed. Hate this bank. Am taking all my money out.

Ismael (I hope I spelt your name correct.) went out of his way to make sure that fraudulent charges were disputed on my account by letting me safely enter the branch office while they can’t let people in. He was very kind and personable. they also had a new card already printed for me when I approached the service desk. thank you so much for all you did for me today. :-)
