Margaritaville, Mall of America

We went to the restaurant at 12:35 p.m. for lunch. That is probably the busiest time to eat at The Mall of America. There was a line to put our name in. The staff working at the entrance greeted us with very friendly smiles and attitudes. We were told there was a 35 to 40 minute wait and then asked if we were OK to wait. We kind of knew this would be the case and we're prepared for the wait. The young man did apologize for the wait and then thanked us for understanding. The wait was just over 50 minutes, again, something we expected at that time of the day. We were taken to our table. The tables were well spaced apart and very clean. Our waitress attended to is very promptly, taking our drink order and returning with the drinks quickly. She was very friendly and professional. Our food arrived in an average amount of time. Our orders were prepared to our specifications. The food was very good. It came to the table hot. Our drinks were refilled without having to ask. The waitress cleared dishes when we were finished eating, addressing us with friendly conversation. She processed our payment quickly. While there I noted all staff were wearing masks in the correct manner. They were cleaning areas regularly. There is a public restroom available for diners to use. I can't forget to mention the fun music and music videos that play while you dine. I enjoyed my meal and the atmosphere. My suggestion if you don't like to wait is to either come very early for lunch or come later in the afternoon, but be prepared for a wait at noon on a Saturday.

Definitely do not recommend. Walked in to this establishment and was told that the bar was on a first come first served basis but was told that there was also a party that was told they would be able to reserve the next available seats for a first come first serve seating arrangement which made no sense to me. We had a party of 4 and there were two seats available and wanted to bring 2 other chairs to our area but were told no for social distancing. Which would have been fine had we not witnessed that not being followed for other patrons. If you’re going to enforce a rule, enforce it for everyone. Notice the man clearly sitting at an X seating area with no issues

Had a wonderful meal here a couple days ago. Was super clean and very well maintained with the covid protocols.nnTony A our waiter was completely awesome. Couldn't have asked for better service then what we received.nnOur food was very delicious and very quickly brought out. Everything about dinner was on point.

Their drink menu is second to none with something for everyone. Their menu is a little on the small side and hasn't changed much in the last couple years. If a cocktail is more important than the food options this is your place.

My absolute favorite place in the world! It’s like my own personal beach. Tony is an awesome employee and always exceeds my expectations of service. He’s always got a great attitude and a smile on his face he’s the best(: I’d definitely recommend stopping in! They also follow all covid guidelines and are sanitizing everything including chairs/seats between customers. Awesome to see.
