Famous Footwear

Very unfriendly, walked in and both girls at the cashier on the cell phone. Asked questions about certain shoes they had no knowledge of the brands.

So recently my boyfriend and I walked in the door of Famous Footwear in Mankato, after a long absence from shopping there. I am a rewards member however. I was chatting with my boyfriend about how the layout had changed, when a clerk from the front desk started loudly disagreeing with me about the layout changing, saying it had always been that way. I told her that it had not. She proceeded to argue with me, yelling across the room. Admittedly I hadn't been in since about 2008, but the layout was different, and regardless, why was she arguing with me? And across the room, in front of other customers? My boyfriend found 2 pairs of shoes, which he purchased. We later found same shoes on Amazon cheaper, and decided we would not be returning to Famous Footwear!

Although they did not have the shoe's that my nephew wanted they were very helpful with measuring his feet and helping us find what we were looking for online. Kind, courteous, and there was no pushy sales person.

Use to love famous footwear, but their shoe selection here sucks. Staff was very rude and unhelpful.
