Merrillwood Pediatrics

I feel lucky with this doctor’s office. My daughter is 1.5 and has been going there since birth. Not only do they take good care of her but they were very helpful to me as a first time mom.

Doctors and staff are great - efficient and not wasting any time, but happy to answer questions and listen to concerns. We feel very happy/fortunate to have found this place for our son. He is now 9 months and has been going here from birth.

The staff are great! We’ve seen several of the doctors and loved all but one. She tended to not listen (hence 4 stars)...so we requested a different doctor and it has been great ever since!

We have been with Dr. Wiznewsky since my child was born. She is amazing and I highly recommend her.

Overall we have had a great experience with Merrillwood Pediatrics. We have been with this office since our son was born. The office staff and nursing staff are extremely kind and caring. They are always responsive and helpful when I call for advise, and they remember every member of our family when we go in. We have had great experiences seeing Dr. Wisniewski, Dr. Peltz, and Dr. Marcus. We have seen Dr. Wisniewski and Dr. Peltz most often, and we feel that they genuinely care about our son.nThey encourage a collaborative approach to keeping him growing and thriving.nnI am sad to have to knock one star off of our rating because overall we are very happy with the office. However, we would absolutely not recommend seeing Dr. Laska. From lecturing me at my son's 5 day old appointment about not feeding him enough even though he was already gaining weight back and was 2 oz. from his birth weight, to lecturing my husband about using the wrong diaper rash management method when we had called the office for advice on how to manage a bad case of diaper rash from an antibiotic, we do not feel comfortable seeing her anymore even for a day of sick appointment. Dr. Laska is incredibly rude and condescending in her bedside manner, she does not collaborate with us at all, and even prescribes medications in different doses than the other Merrillwood doctors. I do not trust her judgement and I do not feel comfortable having appointments with her.nnAgain, overall we are very happy with Merrillwood Pediatrics and the care that our son has received with this team. Dr. Wisniewski, Dr. Peltz, and Dr. Marcus are confident, caring, and collaborative doctors. Thank you Dr. Wisniewski, Dr. Peltz, and Dr. Marcus, and to your office and nursing staff!
