When I'm in Canaan I always stop to get my groceries at Canaan Superette. I'd rather shop local then the big box stores. They offer a off brand/generic on some groceries wich offers a lower price. The meat department is by far the best around! The hamburger is ground up every morning and its fresh! All the cuts of meat are fresh and when I prepare for cooking they're is not much to trim off (fat) etc so I'm paying for quality meat. The store is always clean and employees are always nice too.
Its a great well run business by a great owner. The employees are very dedicated to there jobs and are what makes the place fantastic. Thank you!!!!
A wonderful country store. I can get all I need in 2020 and feel they are doing all they can to protect our community including face mask.

Great local market, if they don't have it you probably don't need it. amazing deli and meat counter!
