This place did not come up through out my intense search to find a lobster dinner in Bangor. Our hotel van driver recommended it and we loved it. It feels like a family owned type place, with a casual and comfortable atmosphere. The service was good and the prices seemed reasonable. Two of us ordered the whole lobster and I opted for the lazy way lobster and everyone was pleased. One person got the lobster bisque and wasn't super impressed, but said it was good. Great view of the river and close to the walking trail if you fancy a walk after dinner. Seems like a great area. I would like to come back in better weather!

This restaurant is such a nice restaurant right by a river and you can just watch the river flow by as you eat. I’m not from Maine, we were just passing by going back home and we wanted lobster, so we stopped here. We ordered the lobster roll and the lobster Mac and cheese. It was amazing. I was speechless. If I had 8 hours to spend to drive back up there again I would, that’s how good it was!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was beautiful right on the river and very convenient to get to with plenty of parking. I ordered wings and steamed lobster. The wings were big, juicy and tasty. The lobster was ok. That’s really the only reason I didn’t give it a full rating. I was super excited to have lobster in Maine and I disappointed to find it chewy and the butter was a little bland. I had lobster in Reno that was cooked better and had a more flavorful butter sauce and it cost less. It wasn’t bad, it just wasn’t great. Overall it was a good experience. I would recommend the restaurant but maybe not the lobster.

Great surprise find!nnFantastic service and food. Lobster roll was very tasty and well priced. Especially considering it was the off season for many places further east.

The food and service was great! The waitress was very nice, helpful and responsive. The restaurant looked out over the river making it a very nice and cozy setting. I especially like it because there was not a TV on every wall. Just a nice and relaxing place.
