Gotta love locally brewed beer and beware their own roasted coffee is addictive and tasteful. Friendly staff and a true pleasure to be their customer. Btw...try their cupcakes too!
I love coming to Black Bear, but my most recent visit was rather jarring. I'm not aware of her name, but the new bartender was very abrasive and rude. I understand the need to check for identification, but when she took my ID she nearly bent it in half. As a bartender myself I know this is absolutely not a normal or necessary method of checking the validity of an ID. Someone at my table made a little nervous joking comment about not breaking their ID and she came back with a very snarky remark. Like I said, I have no problem showing proof of age to purchase alcohol, but I absolutely do not appreciate the way my friend and I were treated.
Best beer cheese and pretzels I've ever had. The service was impeccable. Everyone was so eager to make sure we had what we needed. I would highly recommend this brewing company.
Very good beer. First time here. They don't have food yet, but they said hopefully next week they will. Can't wait to come back and try the food. Highly recommend to give it it a try.
