By far the best seafood Paella I have EVER had. All of the seafood was cooked to perfection, the rice complemented all the protein perfectly, and the entire dish was an absolute masterpiece.nnThe ambiance is incredible as is the service and the music taste
Local 188 lured us in with it's warm atmosphere and promises of Spanish delights. While the electric negroni and spicy margarita were indeed delightful and fun, the charcuterie board was small, with only one cracker one cheese, and no meats; a disappointment for the price.nnWe decided to splurge on the paella, and regretfully found it not even slightly crispy, with bland flavors. The final straw: the paella pan was so flimsy we doubted the dish was really cooked in that pan. We wouldn't go back but think with some improvements made it could be worth the price.

A Portland institution. Brunch, drinks, dinner, tapas, you just cannot go wrong at Local 188. I've been coming here since they opened and have never been let down.
The food we ordered was so good! Gnocchi, shrimps, pasta everything was really delicious and the server did a great job making sure we got everything in time.nnThe atmosphere was also great and the decor made the place a good experience. Very well done guys!nnCovid protocols were being strictly followed and the place was not crowded. We got lucky not having a reservation but prior reservation is recommended.
