My wife and I went to Portland to celebrate our anniversary, Roma was just a two minute walk from our Hotel and we thought the menu sounded pretty good. We booked a reservation and walked over, they noted it was our anniversary and had two glasses of sparkling wine ready for us. We ordered the meatball as suggested by our waiter, it was delicious. We then sampled most of their in-house made pasta - I wouldn't say it's a religious experience but it's pretty close. We've gone back several times and the food is consistently superb, the staff is always friendly, and the atmosphere understatedly hip.
One of my favorite restaurants in Portland, and by far the best Italian food. The pastas are incredibly fresh, the service is always perfect, and you couldn't ask for better ambiance. I can't say enough great things about this restaurant!
