Welcoming and relaxed, a great place to spend a few hours with friends. The medieval flare provides an interesting background as you try one of their numerous beers (possibly enjoyed with a cigar from the bar). Occasional live music from local musicians.

I love this brewery. They have a large variety of beers to choose from and a nice outdoor seating area during the summer. Also a great place to smoke a cigar.

Best beer I've ever had there. Been there twice already. Defiantly gotta go back again.

The Heorot was a staple for me during my decade in Muncie. It’s the best place for craft beer selection, hands down, and even better since they’ve started brewing their own. The bartenders are an eclectic, friendly, knowledgeable bunch. The only reason for giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because in the past few years, since leaving Muncie, they’ve made changes that took away from the atmosphere I enjoyed and admired so much; they’ve gotten rid of a lot of the medieval decor, changed their seating, and added bright fluorescent lights. It has started to feel more like a mainstream college bar than the dimly-lit renaissance ale house I remember and love.

One of the best bars in Muncie for all your export beer needs. Great atmosphere and food.
