Friendly staff. They were kind and helpful to me. They didn't judge me unfairly and several people from this hospital have gone above and beyond what is required of them to help others and myself as well. They are very busy right now. As a major Hospital in Galesburg that is to be expected so really I have no complaints.

Worst experience with a hospital and I am new to the Illinois area I expected better than this. Staff was amazing but it was the lack of understanding on physicians end. If you go in for some pain all they will do is pump meds even after you state the meds are making you sick in which i was told no its not the meds. I was not given any answers I was told it was because of smoking Marijuana I was vomiting or because I was having a bad menstrual. I left even more sick than I went in. Not everybody who lives in Galesburg is looking for pain meds in substitute for meth some actually need medical attention. I had to drive in pain to Peoria to get answers.

The rudeness of some of the staff here is ridiculous. If you don’t like your job find a new one that does not involve you working with the public. I am very disappointed in this hospital and the behavior of their staff. Your staff are who reflects your business, and today made me rethink of who cares for my terminally ill mother. So very disappointed in whoever hired these people as well and made it seem like it was ok to ever be rude or disrespectful to a patient or their family members.

I understand that everyone has to get their temperature taken before entering the hospital but I thought the thermometer was to be lightly touched on forehead not run across the brows. Also, I don't think we should have to say what we are having done right there in the entryway where everyone can hear I don't want people knowing my personal medical business. There's no privacy at the clinic either everyone is right there in waiting area and can hear EVERYTHING you say when you check in that's one reason why I had to go to a different Dr because there can be 50 people in the waiting area it feels like you're on stage, I can't believe all of the renovations and no privacy. I wish they would of at least positioned the check ins so that the patient walks behind a petition of some kind so people can't sit watch and listen when you check in. I felt so much better after I found another Dr so I wouldn't have to go through that anymore. Everyone can hear your name address, insurance, dob, you name it. Now I know why some people just go out of town.
