Physician Associates of Good Sam Delhi TriHealth Physician Partner

It’s sad for me to do a rating like this because My Doctor for 25 years practices here, Dr. HUSCHART which has been a fantastic Doctor for me. So, this is not a review against him, but a review of The Physician Associates in Delhi. As I said, I was a patient of Dr. Huschart, I’m self employed and the past 4 years I have been self pay with no insurance, years before that I had insurance plans through work plans, then this year because of income changes, I became eligible for Medicaid insurance through the state. I selected CareSource, which my Doctor was listed as a provider for them. My next appointment with Doctor I show up, presented insurance changes to front desk, and at that point I’m told that Dr HUSCHART can’t see me, because he is at his maximum amount for Caresource patients, and can’t accept “new” patients.” But, I’m Not a new patient “ I said. “I’ve been seeing him for 25 years” And the response is, “Sorry sir, there is nothing we can do”nI then ask if I can be seen and just continue to pay out of pocket, to which the answer is “No, sorry you have insurance and it has to be ran through the state and we aren’t allowed to accept payment out of your pocket, it’s policy”nSo, just like that, I loose my family Doctor of 25 plus years, for trying to make my life easier and applying for some assistance. I’m losing faith in the healthcare system, it’s very disturbing to me.

I was told by Emily at the office that I could get blood work done which required a 12 hour fast, so I did that and then some because of the appointment time. I took off work to go to this late afternoon appointment, was 10 minutes late due to car troubles (which I told them) and was told I couldn't be seen.nnIf I'm not even going to get understanding, I will go to an actual doctor who is probably just as unfeeling.
