Have never had bad experience here. Employees always talk to you at registered about your pets. They actually take care of the animals at the store unlike most chain pet stores and all the employees are nice.

Service in the aquatics department is poor. Have been in there a few times. I understand waiting your turn but you should not have to wait 30 minutes when there is just two people in front of you. I was in there today. Two employees helping, one getting fish (some dropped on the floor and still put in the bags for purchase) for a family and one helping others with a tank purchase. I was standing there by the fish tanks with my husband waiting for help. They both finished helping and never came back to see if we needed anything. Instead they were talking to each other in a separate aisle. We left.

They are amazing. We got a beta fish and he looks great. They really care about their customers and animals.

I had my son pick up my order since he was going to be in Ames and I'm an hour away. I didn't notice until after opening the bag and giving it to my dog that it's the WRONG FOOD!!! He has a chicken allergy and I was given chicken and brown rice. Not lamb. Clearly I can't trust your store for the needs of my big guy. This ih s the second time we've had an issue. We're canceling our auto ship also.

I like the variety in the store. it is bright and clean. lots of toys for both my puppy and my cats. friendly, helpful employees
