Whenever I go in to buy fish or aquarium supplies the staff is super helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly, even when the store is busy. They take time to answer my questions, give me advice, and help me make informed decisions. The prices and selection of freshwater fish are also good.

The lady who responded to the overhead request for help was happy to help and knowledgeable of the hamsters as she gently scooped it into the box. Not so confident with our request for salt water critters, she excused herself, returning with a gentleman just as happy to be helpful. As they both filled our needs, checking us out and helping to get our bags to our vehicle! NICE JOB!

Clean store. Prices a little high and few sale items. Staff mostly young and less than helpful, but energetic. Many items I needed were not un stock. I’m not impressed with this location, however there did seem to be many satisfied customers. To be fair, I have only been here a couple times and only to pick up a few items. I have no knowledge concerning the veterinarian or grooming services.

Worth the drive out there from Ankeny for their low prices. Found the dog food we feed our dog for a much lower price (20 dollars cheaper) per bag on sale. Also have a great variety of other items compared to other similar stores.
