Petco

When we went to Petco on 2/17/2, we were able to find the item we were looking for, directed by a helpful employee, but on the way to the checkout, a pair of beautiful young ferrets caught our attention. They were both trying to get water out of a water dispenser (there were two) in their habitat, and it seemed like they were not able to get any. They were both climbing all over one of the water dispensers. Then they tried the other dispenser. We signaled to the associate to come over and look, explaining that we thought the ferrets had no water. This particular associate said, sure, they do, there is an air bubble at the top of both bottles. We could not see this. We walked to the front of the store, and spoke to one of the other associates about our concerns, and that we thought the other associate was incorrect and seemed dismissive. Thankfully, this employee took our observation seriously, and after we finished our purchase, promised to go and check on the ferrets and the water situation immediately. I certainly don't want to cause trouble for the other employee, but having said this, we were really concerned about these babies being without water. I hope this is an isolated incident.The other employee was willing to help, we're thankful for this. Otherwise, this is a nice, organized Petco, with a mostly helpful, competent staff.

I just want to say THANK YOU SO MUCH to the manger and staff on today. Some weird random older man followed me and my toddler in the store from the parking lot and said some very creepy things to me. I told someone and they made sure he left was helped me and my son out to our car. It was a very unnerving situation and they made me feel very safe. Thank you all again so much!!!

Not so much for the Middletown store. Do to the distance away from my house. Newington is much closer to me. I did like your store. Pet Co is a great place to unwind after a long day. Love to look at all the critters inside their habitats. Keep loving God's creatures.

Its a big store and finally a fish section that is 3 isles stocked. Other isles were too so you will definitely might find what you need.

The grooming department at Petco in Middletown does a wonderful job. Hannah is one of the best and my dog adores her!
