Craft Kings

Came down to WV from Columbus, Ohio. Did some hiking and wanted a beer and some good food afterward. This place did not disappoint! Much better than your average bar food. Good service, good beer. The restaurant itself isn’t fancy, but it’s a good comfy atmosphere.

Great menu that switches it up every few months so there's always something new to try. Never disappoints! The staff are always super-friendly, too. Definitely the place to go for if you're passing by the Mt. Nebo/Summersville area. (Or even if you aren't. It's worth the drive. ud83dude09)

I wish that I had taken a photo before I had taken a few bites. This is the surf & turf burger--so delicious! This was our first time eating out anywhere since the pandemic started, and we were not disappointed! I am looking forward to trying other things on the menu, until the next time-thank you!

I called in an order and was told 25-35 minutes and here i am an hour later with no food yet. People that showed up to eat inside after my order was placed are being served before my order is taken care of. Dont provide times if they are clearly going to be inaccurate. No matter how good the food is or how nice the people are, the wait absolutely kills it.nnAfter being told I was going to be refunded, and contacted by the owner..I never was. They don't even have the decency to return phone calls.

I would give this place 5 stars if the service was a bit quicker. The service was fantastic otherwise, and the food was good. The place makes their food MTO so thus the delay in service. They specialize in having local craft beers on draft, and though there was a good selection, I was disappointed they did not have any wheat or Belgian style beers.nWe visited the place by accident, as we say a coffee place in the same plaza, and as my wife went to get coffee, I decided to check this place out to see what kind of eating establishment or draft house it was, perhaps to grab a quick beer while the wife gets a coffee. I was looked around and was not too interested and walked out to meet my wife at the coffee place. We then let the dogs out of the car to drink water and eat their lunch when a woman from Craft Kings approached us and said she saw me walk in and out and wanted to apologize if I did not get immediate attention as they are busy. She stated there was a 20 minute waiting list but that we could be seated on the back deck and be served immediately, as well as take the dogs with us. In fact, the young lady rattled off her draft beer list and took our drink order right from the parking lot. We felt obligated to stay and eat now.nWe took the dogs to the deck around the back where it was quiet without any other patrons and there was nothing but a nice view of the woods. The young ladies who worked there kept coming out to pay attention to our dogs, as well as us, but more so the dogs I believe. They apologized up front for the delay in service that we would expect due to the food being MTO, and they were correct. We were there for a long time. However, it was such a nice pleasant experience that I would recommend this place, especially to tourists visiting the area to get a taste of West Virginia beer.
