We are adopting a dog in a few days and saw that the store just opened in our neighborhood. We are first-time dog owners so we went in not knowing what to expect or even ask. Keith was incredibly helpful and walked us through the store and explained all of the food, treat and toy options. He was extremely knowledgeable and gave us options for everything in a variety of price ranges. We left with some excellent puppy supplies and feel prepared and excited to meet our new pup. Can’t wait to eventually bring our dog into the store soon!

We absolutely loved the east side location and we were so excited to hear they were opening a south location! So far, we’ve been twice and both times we’ve gone it’s been amazing. The people that work at Paws on Chicon are always helpful with product knowledge, helping you take your food to your car, and making suggestions on other items to try so your pet can live its best life. We used to drive to the east side location (about 30 minutes) because we love the staff and product selection that much; their south side location is now about a 12 minute drive from us! I really don’t trust any other pet store in Austin like I trust Paws on Chicon! We love them the most, and I think you will too! (And they have frozen yogurt for your dog/cat... how cool is that?!) 10 out of 10– would recommend!

Paws on Chicon is my favorite local pet supply store. When I heard a new location was opening closer to where I live, I was super stoked. I recently took one of my dogs with me to check it out, and was not disappointed. Great products, fantastic wash stations, the best staff, and a cute spot to take a photo. Mr. Keith (owner) and everyone there care so much about our community. They take any opportunity to give back. So please check them out and spoil your dog with some fresh made doggy froyo. Please support local and small businesses!

This is such a cute local pet store! I ran in for just a few potty bags but when you're a pet parent and only spend money on your dog, you obviously buy more. Paws has such great products and the staff is super knowledgeable. Everything from raw to allergy specific food is available and tons of healthy treats. If you're in the area and need dog/cat stuffs, this is your place. Plus I haven't used their shampooing station, but I will definitely be back to use it!

Definitely puppy paradise! They have everything your pup could ever want, including goat milk froyo! The staff are extremely knowledgeable about everything they carry and what your dog will love. The prices are also some of the best in town. Can’t wait to come back and try the self wash tubs too!
