Dr Jaramillo senior and junior both did amazing with my c-section and delivery of my baby perfectly. Dr. Wehmeyer did really well with keeping me updated on my son and any other information I needed. The doctor that put the epidural did fabulous, I’m barely 8 days postpartum and my back feels amazing. The nurses were also amazing, every single one that I had! The only down fall is that the food was pretty terrible, I received my food cold and it didn’t taste all that great but the coffee was hot.
I was in the hospital from 2/23/21 to 2/25/21 for a total hip replacement surgery. The staff there was good and some went above and beyond my expectations. I'm not one that just lays in a bed after having surgery so I was doing all that I could do to show them that I was ready and willing to do whatever needs to be done so I could get out of there. The only reason that I gave a four star review resulted from one nurse that left me in pain for longer than she should have. I did make a compliant about it and I guess that someone must have talked to her about it because when she came back on duty that night she was more attentive to my needs. This is a good hospital and I would recommend that you go here first before thinking about going further away. Thank you Southeast Texas Medical Center!
I had a very rewarding experience during my stay at your center. The nurses were very caring, and some helped me through a very stressful time. The doctors came in and spoke to me and answered all my questions. During this stressful time of covid, they took time to put me at ease, and that's greatly appreciated. Most of all, you have a guy there that came in and transported me to surgery, that made me not only comfortable but actually, feeling very good about the whole thing. He ended his time with me by praying with me and worshiping. He made me feel like I was talking with my grandson. Thank you.
Very good experience in the heart center. I've had 3 heart procedures here since 2012. The attendants, nurses, and doctors are very upbeat and explain each procedure thoroughly. I felt very comfortable and at ease throughout the entire visit.
I was told go to Houston for surgery, I choose to stay close to home.nnDr. Iceton is fantastic, I had a total knee replacement surgery.nnThe staff has been awesome great nurses night and day.nnI could not have been happier with Cali my day nurse and Christine at night.
