They staff is very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. They have provided services outside the typical bank services.

The personel are very nice and polite. The bank is without a doubt the worst, after being a member for 20 years with very good standing and never asking for a loan was turned down for a new car loan, then when going on a vacation taking my grandson to see the Grand Canyon I went in and informed them and filled out paper work saying I was going. I get there and go to pay for my room and in front of all the people there my card was refused, you can imagine how embarrassing that is. The next day I call the bank and they had shut down my card eventhough I told them and signed forms telling them I was going. The last straw was today when I was making a large purchase and they declined it. I called them and was told I had to sign forms to release that much money, ok. Then I'm told that a loan officer would have to approve my purchase. So when does a bank have the right TO TELL ME WHEN AND WHERE I CAN SPEND MY MONEY!!!!! It's not a loan it's my money. That's strike 3 and I am out, i will be closing my accounts and moving to Guadalupe Bank. I am not sure if the BS they are doing is even legal.

I have found Security state bank to be honest, helpful and caring. .Security state bank couldn't not have been around as long as the have without great customer service and being fair to there customers.Im writing this review because I can honestly say that if someone had a problem and went into the bank they will be reasonable and try to help. Like any business we all have regulations out of our control.Stand up and be a proud Texan the we have a local bank.nPs no one ask or paid me to write this. I just got piss off when I read some of the crazy post.
