Had a wonderful experience here. My kid split her eye open in a fall. They were wonderful with her. Numbered the area with gel so she didn’t have to have a shot. Then gave her some meds to make her relaxed. The split was all the way onto her eyelid. They did a great job. She didn’t even need to be held down. She was conscious and happy almost the whole time. Even said “Thank You, Doctor!” On her own. Thank you
I SPENT OVER 4 HOURS IN THE EMERGENCY ROOM AND THERE WASN'T ANOTHER DOUL IN THE WAITING ROOM WHEN MY SON AND I ARRIVED! I ASKED IF THERE WAS A PROBLEM OR IF THERE WAS SOMETHING THAT COULD BE DONE TO GET US OUT FASTER BUT BUT I WAS TOLD NOT UNLESS MY SON HAS A STROKE!! MY PARENTS TRAVELED FROM VIRGINIA AND HAD TO SIT IN THEIR CAR WAITING BECAUSE I COULDN'T LEAVE...IT WOULD BE CONSIDERED AMA AND MY SON WOULDN'T BE GIVEN AN EXCUSE FOR SCHOOL. THE DOCTOR PRETTY MUCH TOLD US WHAT WAS WRONG OR THE CAUSE OF HIS PAIN THE THE FIRST HOUR AND A HALF WE WERE HERE BUT I'M NOT SURE WHY WE WERE NOT ALLOWED TO LEAVE AT THAT POINT! THE BOARF IN THE ROON SAID WE HAD 3 MD'S AND 2 PA'S...WITH THAT MANY MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS AND NO OTHER PATIENTS (AT LEAST NOT WHEN WE GOT THERE) .WE SHOULD'VE BEEN TAKEN CARE OF AND OUT IN NO TIME! THIS WAS RIDICULOUS!
There needs to be additional stars. These folks were awesome!nMy daughter was sent by urgent care to ER for appendicitis symptoms. We went to another ER initially, because it was closer, but after waiting 5 hours to be seen, we left came to Niswonger. Great Staff, while finishing up the check in process they were calling her back already. Friendly, very kid-friendly staff! Will definitely make the drive in the event we ever need another ER.
