Johnson City Medical Center: Emergency Room

I could not have been cared for better!nnFriday night I had been instructed to go to the emergency room and get an IV antibiotic. I chose JCMC-ER. From beginning to end every last one of the staff were professional, caring, and IMO took great care of me.nnTEAM Shout out...give them credit...Check-in w/ Melissa, (then about a 10 min wait) the intake staff (I remember Christine?) that did an excellent job starting the IV ( I am sorry I cannot remember the names of the ladies with her hair wrapped or the one who pulsed and BP cuffed me...sorry) Sorry for giving you guys a little scare with passing out (I really dislike giving blood) and the 50 for RHR :) they moved fast and effectively to bring me back and ran an EKG swiftly.nnOnce back in the ER room, fabulous nurses Christina, Breanna, (missing the intern's name), Robert was excellent with the Xray, John with paperwork, and the tall guy w dark hair that brought my extra clothes in from my wife.nnAnd finally to the Doc, Eddie, I appreciated your thoroughness, attention to detail, and critical thinking skills. You took time and made me feel heard and appreciated. Thanks for all the suggestions on how to counter the effects of the oral antibiotics that I have been taking, the advice has helped a lot.nnThankful for JCMC ER and the phenomenal ER TEAM. Based on my experience, I HIGHLY recommend them!

Patient and employee:nnWithout a doubt my favorite place in the hospital to work. The nurses and doctors are are very knowledgeable and nice, and are pretty quick as well, depending what you're there for. There usually is a wait in the waiting room.
