It was just another Saturday night shift working the ER for the staff, nurses and doctors, but it was a matter of life or death to us.nnThey saved my husband's life.nnThey quickly prepared him for the helicopter transport to Centennial Hospital getting him loaded and in the air within about 30 mins after we arrived at Macon Community Hospital. They arranged for a Cath Lab team to be ready and waiting, and he arrived at Centennial just in time. His heart stopped beating as he was being transferred from the gurney to the surgery table. The Cath Lab staff was ready and immediately went to work. After another heart stopping moment during the procedure, the surgery was ultimately successful.nnOur appreciation for the outstanding competent care, as well as the kindness and compassion shown while treating his heart attack, is beyond any expression we could offer for how thankful we are of the staff and ER dept. at Macon Community Hospital.

I've been here several times. Each time my experience is good, if not great. Yes, the wait can be a bit much sometimes, but I understand it's a small hospital trying to accommodate a growing community. Either way, I'm going to continue to go here when the need arises.

Worst hospital ever. They took a guess at what was wrong with me, and told me to come back if symptoms worsen. But they didn’t even figure out why I was passing out and seizing. Waiting on thousands of dollars in bills to come in the mail after getting a google answer from a doctor. Horrible place.

I went here today for complaints of abdominal pain. I was checked in immediately, and taken back to a room almost immediately. The nursing staff and doctor that saw me were knowledgeable, caring, and friendly. I had been leery about going to this hospital because of all the bad reviews but, I am thankful to say, now that I have been there and been taken care of for myself, I will recommend this hospital to anyone in the area that needs urgent medical care.
