I went yesterday to pick up this contrast for my husband so he can have a CT done. The black lady at the desk demanded that I put on a mask and I told her that due to my disability that I couldn't wear on. She threatened to call security on me and then she wanted to know my disability. I tried to educate her on the laws but she didn't want to listen.

I just had my son 3/17/2021. The mid night shift in Labor and Delivered is just there for a check. One nurse put my iv in and it became bothering, asked for it to be moved that took forever, then the other nurse blew my vein after she tried. But shout out to David the epidural Dr. He really SAVE my LIFE and day!!!! I do not recommend at all. Even my child father had trouble with front lobby clerk and he was just trying to get back to me after dropping me off in the emergency room... Thankful I’m still here but someone needed to tell on you ladies and to get some workers that’s there because they want to be and not because they have to be!!!

I had inpatient surgery a couple of years ago and everything was perfect from start to finish and I wrote a glowing review. However, yesterday I had outpatient surgery and it was the worst medical experience in my life. Everything was perfectly fine until I was brought to my recovery room. Then everything went downhill. I was told I would be released when I was able to drink, eat, and urinate. I was unable to do the latter. I drank several soft drinks, water, coffee, IV, and felt like I was going to burst my bladder but I was unable to urinate. I tried walking up and down the hall, poured warm water on my privates, held my hand in warm water but nothing worked. With my bladder about to burst, my nurse decided to call my doctor after I threatened to leave. He refused to leave me because it was too dangerous. He instructed the nurse to insert a catheter. Another nurse said she was going to let my nurse perform the procedure because she hadn't done one in a while and needed the experience experience. She began jabbing the tube within me and I began to feel immense pain. I yelled and screamed for her to stop and withdraw the tube. She finally did. The doctor still refused to release me. I was ready to leave and if I was unable to urinate at home I'd go to the ER. He said it was too dangerous. I don't know why the more experienced nurse didn't attempt the procedure. Fortunately an OR nurse was on his way home and they stopped him and asked him to assist them. He applied a cream and comforted me. Although it was uncomfortable he was able to insert the tube painlessly. I still have pain and bleeding from the first attempt. I was told I would go home with the catheter a few days and to have my Urologist take it out. I spent 7 hours in recovery and was only given pain medication when I first entered the room. I said I was in pain. I had a large incision on my abdomen and was only given more medication 7 hours later. My BP, Pulse Rate, Oxygen, and Temp was taken only once when I came into recovery. No one told me what was discovered in my exploratory surgery or my condition. I was anxious, fearful, and angry because no one would explain anything to me. I was worried about my kidneys. When I was sent home I didn't sign any discharge papers. I wasn't told how to care for my incisions or what activities I could or couldn't perform. I've had a dozen surgeries and as many hospital stays. This was by far my worst medical experience ever. After this, I am very hesitant of having another outpatient surgery performed at Maury Regional. This is the first time I've had to write a bad report and regret having to do so.

I had an awesome experience. I was admitted because of a bacterial infection of my lungs. I didn’t know my name or an information. They was very polite to my husband when they would call him to ask questions I could not answer. My husband was 1hr 45min away from me. The drs nurses lab workers and all the people that was running test to find out how to treat and how bad it really was. I wish I could thank all these health care worker personally. Highly recommend this hospital.
