It's a joke most of the time. One man is the only English speaking employee they have. The seem not to care for my business. I ask a employee for a P-trap and he told me it's back younder in the corner. I said the hell, you show me bc I looked for two minutes. Come to find out, they didn't have one.

I dropped by the other day to drop off something for UPS pickup and perused the counters of the store. They have a pretty good supply of materials and friendly people.

I entered this store on Aug 21, one hour before the eclipse, asking the young clerk at the counter if they had any viewing glasses left. Not only did they welcome me out of towner, the clerk gave me his last glasses he had in a drawer as a gift.nI will never forget their generosity, and will announce on social media how welcoming and friendly the people of Saluda were on my visit to South Carolina. A special Thank You to that young man, who's name I unfortunately don't have, and to all the folks at the Hardware Store, and Saluda SC.
