Great shop. It was my first time in Georgetown. The shop entrance is down a little hallway off the main sidewalk. Good selection of quality T shirts and other clothing and small gift items. The lady running the shop, I think her name was Lynn, was extremely friendly and helpful

I know you all think I’m going to praise Muddy Bay Outfitters for the clothes, store and other physical merchandise but I’m not. I’m going to tell you something else about Muddy Bay Outfitters which you may or may not know.nnAbout a week ago, my wife and I made the Georgetown waterfront a stop, which we knew little about to walk around and kill time while traveling to Myrtle Beach Airport for a late evening flight. It was around 3 pm and our flight was taking off at 10 PM.nnWell, anyway, we parked and started to walk around the boardwalk to see what stores were in the area. We really didn’t know the area, but we knew all the restaurants were closed due to the virus lockdown. Being an older person, I had to go to the bathroom quickly and with no restaurants open I was in dire straights, if you know what I mean. So I shot into a hallway with a row of stores to see if I could find a public restroom. When I couldn’t find one, I got disparit and walked into a store randomly. The store happened to be Muddy Bay Outfitters. I walked in and asked the woman working the counter to use her bathroom. She thought about it a second and then said go ahead pointing to her private bathroom. When done I walked out of the store saying thank you to the woman who let me use her restroom. Afterwards, I started to think about it and realized with all this virus scare going around the woman was kind enough to let me use her restroom. I know for some that may not be a big deal, but knowing the current situation upon us, her allowing me to use her private bathroom was a GREAT ACT OF KINDNESS.nnFor her kindness I just want to say THANK YOU SO MUCH! To be that gracious and understanding during a time of great confusion and not knowing what’s next took much courage and kindness And I will never, ever forgot that. Being a retired Police Officer there were rare times when People opened their arms to a person they don’t know.nI just want that woman behind the counter to know how great full I was and now that we’re moving into that area, my wife and I decided that Muddy Bay Outfitters will be the first place we’ll go when back in the area, this time to buy something and also to give a more calm and formal thank you!nnMarty & Patti Bruno

What a great little shop! Good selection of clothes and shoes, and the owner is very nice!
