Once is understandable, twice is questionable now three times, just can't take it anymore. Any time me or my wife comes in its horrible. Nurses/staff can't not be condescending, but they also can never really figure out what exactly is going on. Getting really tired of the poor attitudes from night shift ER staff. Also it would be nice to figure out what's going wrong and there's never an answer. Just speculation. Getting kind of tired of it.

As with any medical center, they are doing their best to keep up with COVID and the community's healthcare needs. Of the multiple times I have been to St. Mary's either inpatient or outpatient, including day surgery and their ER, they have never failed to provide me with first rate health care and have always made me feel valued as a patient. We have a choice in town and I chooses St. Mary's Regional Medical Center.

Save yourself the hassle and go to Integris. I came in to the ER after having severe dizziness, shortness of breath accompanied by headaches, and the general feeling of passing out. Unfortunately, I have it in my record that I have anxiety, so they were quick to form a bias through which they “treated me”. They did not do bloodwork or anything and sent me on my way with a diagnosis of “dizziness”. After being charged $4,000 by St. Mary’s and no minimization of symptoms, I went elsewhere and found out I have anemia, which could’ve been diagnosed with a simple blood test.nOn a separate occasion we brought my 18 month old in because he was having very high fevers over 2-3 days. The only thing the nurse practitioner did was literally take his temperature and looked in his ear, resulting in a diagnosis of an “ear infection”. The next day I took my son to his pediatrician, to which I found out that he had Roseola, not an ear infection. After an $800 bill after insurance was applied and a wrong diagnosis, I’ve come to the realization that St. Mary’s is lacking. Do yourself a favor and go to Integris instead.

As always the staff was great.nSometimes better than they should have been.nMy only problem is the same one I have with them on a consistent basis.nWhen it comes to their ER, my problems are diagnosed and then nothing.nnI left there in as much pain as I showed up with.
